This is the only metronome that keeps time correctly! I have been searching for one that does and now Ive found it!

My piano teacher told me that I should get a metronome app for my iPod instead of buying one at a store. I found this one and I love it!! Thanks so much for an awesome app!!

Best free metronome out there! Irregular time signatures, quartz accuracy, and it even works while the iPhone is locked!!! Better than the apps you have to pay for! Im a drummer, and after searching for the best free metronome, I have found it! And it doesnt even have ads! Id give it 10 stars if I could.

This is a useful app, especially if your real metronome switches floors and you dont feeling like going up or downstairs to get it. :P Pros: Keeps perfect time Has a wide range of tempos that are easy to switch between (hit the plus and minus buttons or use the slider on the actual stick part of the metronome) Easy start/stop (push the stick to start, touch the screen to stop) Tons of meters- the basic ones like 3/4, 4/4, 2/4 and some more unusual ones-12 or 15 total meters No adds! Opens right to the met and never has any once its open either Cons: Kinda quiet- occasionally hard to hear over an instrument (Ive used it with flute and piano) No subdivisions, just a beat. Then again, with the huge range that it has you can just set it twice as fast in 2/4 for eighth notes Its really good for an iPod app (especially a free one) but if youre gonna be doing anything really fast and/or loud, you may want to get a real metronome (a digital one) or go online and google online metronome.

It has a bunch of time signatures, but I only gave it 4 stars bc you can not change the sound of the click.

I havent played an instrument in 25 years but this app is an accurate, basic metronome...and its free. I use this app to help students maintain a regular rhythm and deliver compressions at a correct rate in CPR. Its much better than trying to look at a clock while watching students perform their skills.

Saved me $50! Way better than buying an actual metrodome. I really needed this so I can play my étude to try out for district honors band! This gives me that much more of a chance of making it! Thanks! :)

Its kind of ugly (it hasnt been updated for the Retina Display), its not the easiest to set to a specific tempo, only supports one orientation, and it even ticks in the wrong place (when the arm is on the outside, rather than in the middle). But it has: (a) the most accurate timing Ive heard from any metronome app, (b) a clear, simple, and loud tick, and (c) a mode ("1/4") with no accent. Excellent. I hope we see a 2.0 update someday, but even as it is now, I keep coming back to this app because its so good at doing what a metronome is supposed to do.

Great metronome! One of the few digital app ones that stay in time. An update with Retina support and maybe sound choices for the tick and this app will be a perfect tool! Keep it up!

I dont need listboxes or menus or keypads in order to up the tempo when Im practicing. This app gives me huge plus and minus buttons on the main screen - perfect! It isnt very loud, but its the only app Ive found simple enough to use without fuss when doing repetitions.

This helps me to keep on tempo.it is harder to hear the ticks with real metronomes when I play, so this helps alot!

I needed a good free metronome app for my guitar lessons!! Im not good with technology but this was easy to use!!

I Love this app! I needed a metronome for piano practice, so I downloaded nine different ones so I could find the best. I even had the Steinway and super awesome guitar one, and no matter how many different settings or sounds, I kept coming back to this one. This is the most true to a real metronome, and its So simple to use! Absolutely, I would recommend this to anyone!

This is all you need in a metronome. Unless you are in the music business or teaching and require something specific in a time keeping device, this is the foundation of what we need to keep a cadence. You have visual and audio and it is Simple. To increase or decrease the tempo, tap the plus (+) or minus (-) icons or slide the weight on the staff. To pick a time signature tap the desired time; 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, etc..... Metronome!

I would give it 6 stars if it had tap tempo and different click sounds! But really great accuracy!

I play cello, and needed help keeping time (I often rush. But sometimes play too slowly.) Setting it to 1/4 is SO helpful! I think this is great for it is supposed to, keep time.
